MDJunction to me

Macv"For me, MDjunction has been a place where I can share my experiences
living with the very rare bone disease called Ollier's ( Enchondromatosis ) with the parents of children recently diagnosed. I can help them not to run
into the pitfalls my parents did when I was young, give them a bit of a view
from their child's perspective and simply be there to offer support and
hope to people who are scared and just had their lives upended. I also belong to a chronic pain group and it's been a Godsend to be able to actually
talk with others who understand what I'm dealing with. Besides them helping me through my tough times, I can be there to help them as well. Here too, I can use my years of experience to help others avoid pitfalls and it makes me feel good, gives my life more purpose. MDjunction brings people
together when their suffering, at their darkest and feeling alone in this world and allows some light to be brought back into their lives. HOPE, that's what
MDjunction means to me!

It is amazing how words to a song never leave, we went for a drive last weekend and listened to old 70's and early 80's light rock and I could remember almost all the words, I surprised myselfSmile

Lol. You folks are really making me feel like the baby of the group. I wasn't even thought about in the 70s!

Brought back memories, Paul. My husband, embarrassed after he told me he loved me for the first time, broke into a chorus of Mr. Bojangles! I know the old songs. Can't tell you much of what is sung today.

That's Ok Guitar I like newer music also (Love Maroon 5 and even a couple of lady Gaga)

Some of the lyrics get stuck in my head , But not the whole song like the old ones.

Paul - one of my favorites - Mister Bojangles. I can even play it on the guitar! Great minds think alike - Smile

Gail....I went to see Maroon 5 and Train last Septembrer.

Guitar: 1976 was the best year! And I graduated high school in 1979 Smile Smile so now I feel old. But I love that music from the late 60's, all of the 70's (except Disco Sad) and some 80's or later.....
