MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

I think you are still correct (kinda) Gail--"Stonewall" was a nickname so maybe its inscription is the reason. It was in the 1st Battle of Bull run (1st Manassas by Confederate naming) that he earned the nickname.

Love reading all these riddles. Can't get the answers to any of them unless "huh"? "so"? or "does that matter" LOL are correct.....

I like tab's thought process too....I'm laughing, I'm laughing.

Here's one for you Mike. If I turn 50 today am I fractionally older or fractionally younger? Happy Birthday to me Smile

Age is a geometric progression: Each day you are alive is a smaller slice of the billions (in my caseSmile ) that you have been alive. Think of a newborn-the first day is all he has known, the second day is 1/2 of his total life, the third 1/3 and so on. Happy birthday Marg!

Finally a riddle that seems EASY and I don't have HE!!! LOL.

A rain gauge collects rainfall each day of a wet week beginning on Monday. Every day, the amount of rain in the gauge doubles. At Sunday’s end, the rain gauge is completely filled. So on which day is it half-filled?

Mark is in a good mood so I just read it to him. I had to help him. He gets it now that I explained it to him AND he's still in a good mood. LOL

After hitting the SUBMIT button, he was still not convinced that I was correct so he had me search the web. I'm correct according many web sites that came up.

First, people in 1861 wouldn’t have known it was the first Battle of Bull Run. Second, Stonewall Jackson fought for the Confederacy, which referred to the battle as “First Manassas. He was a General also. Dennis did good, but then he has that brand new liver. Wink
