What you need:

crunchy/creamy peanut butter (or soy nut butter)

fresh strawberries

whole wheat bread

What you do:

1. Get out all of the ingredients

2. Spread peanut butter on one of the slices of bread.

3. Rinse about 4 strawberries and cut them into thin pieces about 0.5 cm thick.

4. Place the strawberries on top of the peanut butter.

5. Cut the sandwich and eat it!

This is a variation of a PB&J sandwich, I sometimes get sick of jam/jelly. You can also add banana slices if you'd like and of course anything low sodium/fat that you can find.

Love it! In fact the PB and Banana sandwich (I use potato bread which is probably horrible for me but oh well) and a glass of milk was recomended by the dietician at my Eval. I'm gonna try it with fresh strawberries DEH! Ru

I use two pancakes, about 3 1/2" ones and make a PB and bannana sandwich and pour maple syrup over the whole thing, it's great and I don't need to eat again until 2 o'clock, that is if breakfast is at 7 or 8 am. I think I'll try putting strawberries on it too.

Hey derek - you got us all thinking happy thoughts like when we were kids and innocent and peanut butter was so soothing...How dare you Smile

That was also one of my favorite parts of the Movie Joe Black, when Brad Pitt discovers in human form discovers the pleasure of peanut butter!

Thanks, Ru
