MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Hi, I'm sure there are already low salt recipes in this section, but I'm wondering if anyone of you have (good and tasty) low salt recipes. I esp am wondering about low or lower salt pancake, french toast, waffles, biscuits, eggs recipes (and lower fat too). Thanks. I'm new at this low salt thing.

Amy

To me the simplest meals are a price of meat, rice or potatoes and a can of low salt vegi's.

I season my meat with Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and Mrs Dash Table Blend (It smells like season salt to me.)

I use pepper on my foods but no salt.

God is good and I am glad

Thanks...Also I add that I think no butter or margarine, but oil (canola) is good...Eggs in moderation (not made with butter or margarine, boiled maybe)are a meat substitute too (or could be). Lean meats, turkey and esp chicken. Frozen vegies could be used also. Low fat dairy products (moderation). Fruits and vegies. Oh I find white rice (dry) is no sodium and no fat. For breakfast, low-sugar cereal and/or cereal with fiber, and low in sodium, with low-fat milk. Amy
