MDJunction to me

carmen33"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

This time it's my computer that got sick and had to be "hospitalized" for the last two weeks. It must've been a vicious bug, because the car, the TV, and the clothes dryer all got sick as well.
Sincerely, Mo

You must have mentioned that you had a bit of extra money this month. If we say that in our house everything goes bad.

Mo

I understand completed we lost the washer then the range and this morning I noticed the ice cubes in the freezer seemed a bit wet.

I agree With Gremlins. that what I blame every thing on

A few weeks ago, I came out to get my crashed computer to my computer guy to fix only to get a flat tire in a thunderstorm on the way there...then got ANOTHER flat on the way to get the first flat tire fixed..then had to park and when the tow company reached me they accidentally hit my Subaru Forrester!!! Every time I get happy, bombs drop and usually in 3's - why is that? - seems to always be in 3's? I blame it on Gremlins too! Ru

Many years ago (94 i think)we planned a trip to the beach. When one of the girls at work found out she "Joking" Curse us with flat tires , bad weather , sand fleas and sharks.

On the way to the coast we ran over something that cut our break line. The first full day there the beaches were closed due to a Jelly fish swarm so we went shopping and were stuck at a Sam's Club during a Tornado. The beach finally opened the next day and my daughter was bitten by a tiny shark on the foot. The next day we had a flat tire going to the NC Aquarium. We were ready to go home when the time came. As we were almost home and going through Charlotte a large Plane flew over us. Made a odd turn right and crashed at the airport killing 37 of the 52 passengers on board.

My daughter (in college at the time) wrote a paper on the vacation from **** . She won 3 essay contest

The next year as we got ready to go to the beach we invited the girl form work to come along.

Gail - what an incredible story - thanks for sharing it. I forgot that I am greatful for my now seemingly small disaster b/c I met a great manager at Pep Boys who shares my Dad's name Albert and always takes care of my car needs (He even understood my PTSD and Agoraphobia and why I couldn't handle being in that tight full waiting room).

That's incredible that the next year you took that girl along. Hope that tiny shark bite wasn't too bad!! Prayers still for those from that flght and Congrats to your daughter - as a writer-wanna-be I'd love to read your daughter's essay! Ru

Gail,

Sort of sad/funny reading it (except the plane crash) but I bet it was a horror of a holiday. Glad you all survived!

Mo, sounds like you have gremlins.....nothing going wrong here but I am enough of a paranoid person to be worried since reading this thread! Hope you get all your appliances working.....why do they all break at the same time????

Take your time to smell the roses, and always follow your heart.

Gail, what an "epic fail" of a vacation. Hope the essay contest judges realized the story wasn't fiction.
Sincerely, Mo
