MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

Gail, I always wanted to take a walk in the 1-3 am time frame, but always figured if I did I would lose my way home so stayed in.
Peace be with you,

Mike

I'm an Advocate

Mike,

I love it!

I'm not "allowed" to walk alone. One of the guys goes with me.I also a a small walkie talkie they make me carry all the time since the last time I feel I was out side alone.

We live in a good area for walking and all the neighbors know who the crazy lady is.

My husband is doing the same thing. Lately he is dreaming about weird things in the middle of night. Now it is almost dinner time and he is sleeping. I asked a pharmicist the other day from Rite Aid and she said all meds including sleep aids goes thru liver and if liver is not working. I will try serenity oil - lavender and massage his feet. Anything is worth the sleep.

The foot massage worked well for me (at times). Dinner time , sleep, yeah they went together. I would have been up with the kids since they got home from school, and if I wasn't able to cook that day when my wife got home I'd have to lay down. She'd get me up to eat (all I wanted to do was sleep), after usually straight back to bed. That is if I made it all the way through dinner.
Peace be with you,

Mike
