Have not been on in awhile been in and out of the hospital twice in the past week for chest pain and discomfort and tachycardia. Now I have to see a cardiologist got meds that I am allergic too but will try small doses to see if they help if and when it happens. Went to the doctors today he says nothing he can do for me that things are progressing that is all. I have surgery on Friday (cysto) and next week GYN appt at the clinic I have no energy for anything its even hard to get up and walk at times. Feeling pretty rotten. I have no idea what is going on but my PCP blames it on the cirrhosisSilly I think its something else but who knows. Just complaining as usual hope everyone else is having a better time than me.

Hi...I am new here and new to cirrhosis. My husband was diagnosed about a month ago. But to my educated mind, seems there are many things wrong with you and not all attributed to cirrhosis. He had many doctors in the hospital, wanted to blame it all on his liver. He has a few things wrong and when addressed separately, he overcame all of it. Have to get each item fixed.

Thanks Robyn I know you have a hard time too, where do you get such positive strength?

@Momma you are probably right about not everything being the liver however with cirrhosis and autoimmune its like pic one LOL. I have been seeking out specialists in every area to help define some of these problems. Hopefully someone can find out soon what is actually going on. Thanks Cheryl Smile

Cheryl, I pull my positive energy from the universe! it has an overabundance that we all can share in. I know about that autoimmune crap! If my liver isn't causing the problem then it's the immune system causing havoc........oh sun shine down on us!
Journey well,

Sounds like you're just doing too much, Cheryl! Sometimes I have what I like to refer to as "phantom" pain-- not necessarily from the liver, but a general achiness, kinda flu-like symptoms. That's when I just STOP and rest. Your body is trying to tell you something. Listen to it.

Found out what the problem was it was that nasty low Vit-D been taking it for the last few days and feel some better Smile They should actually do some studies and more research on this autoimmune stuff too not much is known about it and it really needs some attention. Come on Sunshine been waiting all week, going out to get some rays... Smile

I worry about the Vit D too. It can cause so many problems, I'm sure that's what caused my fractured spine (weakened bones) The last test they did a year ago was within normal range but that was way before the spine injury (which wasn't caused by anything). This autoimmune stuff can fly away with the birds! I'll send sunshine your way!!!!
Journey well,
Robyn
