Cleaning and organizing papers today. Funny how mundane tasks are extremely calming. Found current lab report numbers and reran the MELD from the report and not my frazzled memory.

23 is his number. The chart says 20% mortality in the next 90 days. Cannot help but think it is his desire to pass.

20% mortality means that 80% live longer than that. we went with the 80!

Any of us could die at anytime so I try not to focus on that, I pay attention to the meld because of his being on the list but to think about him not being with me... well I dont like to go there and like Mike said, focus on the 80% Smile

Oh I see the bigger number too! 80 is so much bigger than 20 and I intend to be in the higher percent! Think positive, I know hard at times but so much more rewarding.
