Dennis and Mike, depending on where you live we all don't have access to a transplant center. I don't and am stuck with the hepatologist I do have, at least there is one here, good or bad.

It is so unfortunate that when we faced with a terrible disease we can't afford the medication to help treat it. Good luck Snowmane. Try that link mpmom gave you.

Will pray something works out for you.

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away."

"Good morning, this is GOD. I will be handling all of your problems today and I do not need your help. So have a good day."

I , like you, can not afford xifaxin but the GI doctor gives me samples. Sometimes I don't have them but when I do I can tell the difference. I know what you mean about the personality change. I take lactulose and it helps. I fall all the time. I sleep a lot or not at all. I also have periods of time I cant' remember. I am always apologizing for thing i say and do. I wish you the best.
