MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

Hey everyone!

I received a PM from Mike today in which he asked me to pass along a request. He said it best so let me just copy/paste. I'm including some of his humor too!

Specific prayer request I'm asking our church group to pray on the hour through the weekend for: strengthening through proper exercise of base of tongue, larynx and pharynx, healing of the muscles after EG tube removal Monday at 10 am, and successful swallow testing at 1pm Monday.

If you could get the word out for that specific prayer much appreciated.

Here's to no more xifaxan, lactulose and dirty looks. Life is awesome on the other side!

I'll be pulling for him! I bet he won't miss that tube!

And from the non time changing province Saskatchewan. NO idea what time zone we're in, central I think...but we do not change the clocks so I will just keep it going as much as possible Smile
