First I want to say welcome to the group. Second i think you are my new hero. I admire the fact that not only do you go to school in a field that could help us all one day. Even If I never get the benefits of what your knowledge and drive will someday mean to us all,future generations will and may not have to suffer from chronic pain the way we do now. I don't have any answers for you and wish I did. The only thing in my life i regret is that i spent so much time caring for and about everyone else,that i never really took care of me. Take care of yourself,put yourself first above all others,eat well,try to exercise in a way that won't make your pain worse, and allow for plenty of quality sleep. Allow yourself to be selfish,and in turn,you will be a more caring and giving human being because you will feel good and will be able too. I wish that someone in my life would have told me this....I don't know if i would have listened,but i wish i had known this years ago before it was too late. I wish you all the best,and look forward to all your posts in the future. |
