Two Novembers ago, I had a manipulation done because muscles spasms had pulled some ribs out of alignment. I'm guessing this is what caused it since it's the only thing that could've caused it. Months later my back was still killing me so my pain dr sent me for a bone scan. Low and behold I had 4 still broken ribs and one that had already healed. I found out at this point that I also have osteopenia(weak bones). Two bone scans, two CT scans, one CT w/contrast, and over a year later they finally healed. I'm still having alot of pain there though. My last CT scan with contrast showed calcification and that they were healed. That was this past December. They still hurt quite badly and in the same way. Radiating from my spine around my rib cage to the front. Is it residual pain you think? Should I push the drs to do an Xray again?

I would ask for another x-ray. I'd want to know what was going on. Even if for my own peace of mind. It's totally up to you though.

Ha! Gen. I'm telling you we were seperated at birth! I went to a dr. Not my own, she's closed. He didn't do an xray but did give me some pain killers. If it's still hurting Monday, I'll run by my regular dr.

Please NOOOOOOO!!!!! I don't want a broken pelvis!!!!!! My kids run me ragged now. Just imagine what they'd do if I was down like that! It's like they smell weakness.

Honestly Gen, there are days when I don't. I take them outside and just let them go. I'll turn on the sprinkler or put them in the pool and just watch. It's quite difficult most of the time. Madison accidentally kneed me in my ribs last night. If they weren't broken before I'm fairly sure they are now.
