MDJunction to me

neshama48"Having Crohn's Disease for over 26 years, in the first few years, it lonely and isolating.
Though now my disease is in a near perfect remission, my friends and family are sympathetic to me, but I can not talk to them about this disease. When I stumbled across MD Junction, and met others who had the same disease I was not alone in battling the disease. MD Junction is like a second family, without the judgement or guilt of having Crohn's Disease, but they do give you love and support.

I was diagnosed with a curved spine when I was in the 6th grade. There was no real problems then and no reason to think that there ever will be. As I have gotten old however the more pain-ful it has become. I am taking vicoden and have for over 10 years. It does a good job masking the pain but nothing for the rest, like the depression.

I am so sorry to hear that. What does your doc say about it? Do you take anti-depression meds? I have been taking them for a few years and can tell such a difference. My doc is the one who finally convinced me that chronic pain usually causes depression. I fought him for about a year before giving in. Yes,I too, am taking pain meds and have been for several years. But they did not deal with the depression. But the anti-depression meds did. For me, it worked. I hope you can find relief for your depression. Hugs
