Howdy Wolfman and Welcome!

Like you, I am in pain 24/7, but thank God I have found a good combo of meds that keep me pain lower than what it was before. Have you talk to your Doc about the meds? If they are not working as they should, is probably because you have built tolerance, and is time for a change. I've been through the " A to Z" meds with my pain, but the combo that I have right now is probably the best so far. I have a 100 Mcg's Fentanyl patch that I change every 72 hours, and for break through pain I have Dilaudid 4 Mg's PRN. I am kind of new to this place, but like you; not new to pain, so welcome and I hope that you find the help andf information that you need. Take care, and I'll see U around.

I'm new here as well but me and pain (or is it pain and I) go way back!! Right now, Tramadol is working but I know it can't last forever. My rheumy has been on a antidepressant kick and I've had rxns to all of them. That can't be that uncommon, can it?
