Chronic Pain Support Group

Hi all sorry I have not been on for awhile but I am having some issues with my legs and feet.I have been confined to bed for a month with severe pain and swelling in both legs and feet.I have been to the hospital twice and PM doctor many times.Had a few lower back epidurals and taking some meds.Yesterday was the first time that I was able to put some pressure on my legs and feet,today maybe a few steps with the 2 canes.

I hope everyone is doing well and I want to Welcome all the new members to the group.I will try and be more active please be patient with me this episode really took the wind out of my sails.

Hi Mike,

Sent you a big ole hug buddy and here's another. Hope your out and about soon. Really want to hear from you as I have been away for a while as well. I pray often for you and my friends. All I need is for the big guy in the sky to listen to this sinner called Bern. I have read some very good words here concerning God and pain. I guess God picked us for chronic pain because he knew we could prevail. What is Gods purpose? Maybe our friends and family have changed knowing us and don't take things lightly. Using their time wisely, know how lucky they are to be healthy. All that stuff. Maybe, right now, some of those words would help my buddy Mike here. I know how long my friend has been away, yet finds time for sending me a hug. Buddy your precious. I know you'll be out and about. Faith is my weapon. That, my friend, is what this life is about. Keep the faith Mike, and I'm thinking of you.

Hi Kardie,

Doing much better it was a heck of a 5 weeks.Starting to walk again only with one cane this flare knocked me for a loop.Have a great weekend.
