My dad goes south every winter. This year, beings hubby and I are empty-nesters... I opted to go with him for awhile. Well, here we are in Florida, been here a couple of days- and I'm having less pain! It's been absolutely wonderful! (Note: I said "less pain", not "painless".) I know it could and probably will change at any given time. But, feeling SO much better in this warmer climate is awesome. I've walked the beach each day that we've been here, and each day is better and I walk further. The sun feels great. I know, as a Lupie the sun isn't good for me. So, I'm being careful.

Anyway, I just wanted to share some 'good news' for a change.

Hey there,

I love walking on the beach when I can. Since my knee replacement that has not happened as much as I like. Watching the sun rise while walking on the beach is one of my favorite things. They keep testing me for Lupus as so many of my symptoms match, but there is also the whole cancer thing that keeps me from to much sun. The call of hte ocean is just to strong at times for me to resist. Enjoy the warmer weather. We have had a cold front in Texas so now my bones are mad again. Enjoy the milder climate while you can.

Today's not so good. It's only supposed to be 45 degrees today. My body's hurting, and I'm suffering from a headache. Sad Can't wait until the weekend, cause it'll be back in the 60's. At least that's what they're saying.
