Yeah, it was awesome. I'm still very sore; valium and Vicodin and muscle rub aren't doing anything to help loosen up my neck and back. Can't really rate my pain as it has gone over into the "bitch" meter. I've very good at ignoring pain; but its still there so I either feel sick or get real mean. Yesterday it was both; today I'm just mean so I must be feeling better. So I feel achey with a stiff neck; so maybe a 2 or 3 which is nothing; but that is after taking all the meds and I'm still real bitchy; so its probably more like a 6 or 7? Hubby woke up early this morning and started working (he works from home) so he'll be done soon. Think I'm gonna take a nap that should help! Mo is playing video games and Brady is in a time out for being a snot (takes after me) hugs jessi 6/9/06 - biopsy positive for cancer 6/23/06 - DIAGNOSIS: stage IV (T4d N2 M1) invasive ductile carcinoma NOS with bone and liver mets; 17 cm mass (primary tumors), inflammatory breast cancer(IBC); HER2/neu+, HR- 6/26/06-12/11/06 - Chemo FEC/Taxol w/Herceptin & Aredia 12/20/06 - right modified radical mastectomy, 7 of 13 removed nodes showed evidence of prior disease 12/21/06 - No Evidence of Disease (stage IV/NED); complete remission 2/6/07-3/22/07-Radiation 28+5 boost, 6040cGy. CURRENT: Still NED, taking Herceptin and Zometa without end. Heart and kidney function remains normal.  |

the pain meter makes me crazy cause you can be a five with spikes of 10 a doc asked me one time well if your in that much pain why did you not go to the hospital well dumb^%$$#%# what will they do nothing I already knew what was wronge, yep Im in the same mode today a real #@$#@! MY PAIN LEVEL IS HORRID AND HAS BEEN THE LAST WEEK!my family knows stay away stay away if your not bleeding or dying stay away |

ohhh, 4 hour nap and I'm feeling much better; although my neck has peelable layers of icy hot on it! Head still hurts, still achey; but so much better! Jessi sorry your pain level is so high. I am with you girl. MY METER JUST WENT OFF THE CHARTS!! My pain is off the charts tonight. I too feel like in bitch mode. I have been trying very very hard to keep to myself the last few days because I am in pain. I am avoiding talking so much to my hubby, son, and others who love me cause they wouldnt want to talk to me today. You know what I mean. I have secluded myself and until I start feeling a bit better, I will be a recluse. |

here is a normal person's body problem, I ate too much frickin steak at dinner, but it was GOOOOOOOOOD! Can't wait for my massage tomorow and hopefully accupuncture the following week. Swimming is helping loosen up my neck a bit; but now my shoulders and arms hurt (sore muscles, no biggie, but I didn't go that far, my body is so broken....) Not hitting pain pills/muscle relaxers "full strength" but needing some; so that's improvement! So last night the muscle spasms in the neck kicked back in and my head was throbbing. I didn't take anything this morning because I had my massage. My head doesn't hurt; but my back, neck shoulders are all still pretty tight. There was this one knot (well there were a lot of knots...) that had me giggleing as she was working on it; it had to be a couple inches long running along the side of my spine! Gee, I wonder why I don't feel good and my back hurts! Contemplating drugging up and letting the kids run loose in the house or toughing it out and taking the kids to the pool. To bad I sent the babysitter home; I could have druged up and sent the kids to the pool with her! I already have her here twice a week; don't want to burn the poor kid out. She needs to enjoy her summers while she can; as long as she stays away from the life guards! Probably gonna drug it up and see if I'm lucid enough to handle the pool if they get sick of cartoons. Did I share that story? The 19 year old life guard was teaching my 15 year old baby sitter how to dive, they were looking a little too smitten. So when she was out of ear shot I broke the news to him; he thought she was 18! So far he's been good and stayed away! Jessi sorry you are still in pain. Me too. I have had to cut down on my pain meds because of horrible constipation, and I can tell you I feel the pain tonight. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. I only took 50 mg of my pain pills instead of usual 300 today. I am calling it a night very soon! Check in with me hun, hope you feel better. for constapation try fish oil(flax seed oil?) you can by them most any where next to the vitemans,its good for your skin as well then there is magniseam also will help,if your desperate "sena" at the health food store it is very nasty but will clean you out stay by a toilet, my pain in the neck is playing tricks on me it had moved more to the left today I least it diffrent I so get tierd of the same ol same ol its nice to have a change...not...at least it helps take my mind off my back and muscel pain... |
