Chronic Headache Online Support Group

I have had NDPH for 3 years now and it is unrelenting. I have a 8-10 pain on a 10 pain scale every day and I am 21. I live with my parents and they get on my back about gettting out more, but it jut takes so much energy out of me anymore, I dont even want to do that. Does anyone have suggestions about how to cope with this pain and other things I can do to try to make it better? I have been in 3 inpatient headache clinics and so many doctors and medications I cannot even count. The only things that worked were strong narcotics, but no doctor wants to write a script for a 21 year old for Opana or OxyContin because of the addictiveness of it. But what if I cannot handle the pain one day? I need suggestions from people that are going through similar things. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas. Thanks!!!

have you joined the NDPH group on mdjunction? many of us have lived your life of pain on this site- while one answer doesn't work for everyone, there are many good threads to rea and one may be for you - good luck.
