Thank you so much for the welcome, Hampton! It IS Wonderful to have a place where we can all feel safe to say what is on our minds, and in our hearts. I really appreciate how kind ALL of you have been to me! And, yes, my son is in COLLEGE, for heaven's sake! He knows what to do, he was just really stressed out and of course, he vented on mama. It's OK, we got past it. I just wish that he could remember that I don't CHOOSE to forget things...it is just part of the illness. I think HE is really angry at me being sick and he cannot fix it...he remembers me as always being the Super Mom, who could do a million things in one day. He goes to counseling at school, and I think he talks about his frustration there. I hope so. We really are very close, and I love him sooooo much! Eliza, thank you for the welcome, too! It is VERY common for people who have Fibro and CFS to have a thyroid problem. There are quite a few doctors out there ( NON-TRADITIONAL) who believe that a non-functioning thyroid CAUSES fibromyalgia and CFS. When you have time you may want to go look at Mary Shomon's website: STOP THE MADNESS. And, look at Dr. John C. Lowe's website...and Dr. Richard Shames, too! I am so glad to be here...sometimes a few of the people on the Fibro website are a bit hard on us all...
