Hi All,

I have a question. I have had this for short periods of time before but thought it was from medication. Now I know it isn't because I don't take those anymore. I have been sleeping so much the last week and a half. I can't stay awake. I feel like I'm under anesthesia and can't come out of it. Does anyone else experience this? I hate it! When I am awake I feel like I've been run over by a Mac truck. Any help is appreciated.

Pam

I have this occasionally too. Sometimes I also feel as if I am under anesthesia, I can barely keep my eyes open. It can last as long as a week for me. I have no idea what it is. Maybe we are anemic when this happens... I dont know. I do wish I knew what it is.

It usually happens after I've had a really good week where I can get things done...I think it's my body's way of getting back at me Sad and yeah, it can last for days at a time, sometimes I only get up long enough to lay back down.

I hope you have some painfree awake time soon.

Peter

Funny thing about this problem is that I have severe insomnia. But like Peter said, I'll have a good week and then my body wants to pay me back and it just seems to shut down.

Sometimes the fatigue feels like I have bricks sitting on my head and I do feel anemic and get so, so tired.

This past week I have been taking long unexpected naps and can't seem to get out of bed. Although, I have to because laying down is so painful. But then I can't sleep through the night.

I am the same way, tired throughout the day like I am drugged but as soon as I get in the bed, I cannot sleep. It is soo frustrating. These days I am looking like hell, with big bags and blackness under my eyes. My family just looks at me like I am dressed for Halloween or something.
