I currently have a Fibromyalgia DX; however.. I am reading about the links to CMV, and Epstein Barr..

Don't mean to ask a stupid question.. but I was wondering how did you know if you had this?

Is this something your regular doctor tests you for?

I seen discussions of titres; but I didn't know if this was something preformed by a specialist..

I currently take ADP, and Threelac; as I too agree with some of the leaky gut syndrome; etc.. that goes with these syndromes.. from reading about 5 different fibro and fatigue books; lol. =)

Just wondering how to get tested for this; and what medications they perscribe for this.. is it antivirals.. or do you do the hollistic thing.. I see the Olive Leaf mentioned..

Just curious.

Thank you =)

You can go to your regular doctor and ask for an EBV panel. The main thing you can do is rest and stengthen your immune system with herbs, vitamins and healthy diet and exercise.

Blink Blink

Hi, I tried olive leaf twice & both times I got hives on my face. Just be careful trying out new things and don't go whole hog 'til you figure it out. I know it's frustrating!

Yes, I had problems with hives as well....my doctor suggested that I use Selsun Blue dandruff shampoo as a body wash and it has help so much. I had rosacea on my face really bad and I broke out heavier at first using Selsun Blue and then got smoother and smoother skin as I continued to use it. I have been using it for a body wash now for over a year and my skin looks so very good. I have been mistaken for being 10 years younger than I am and that's a really good feeling.
