Just wanted to warn those that are severely allergic. I have had times when a product will be marked as Gluten Free, but I have still responded to it. The reason I found for this was because in order to be labeled as Gluten Free, the product must be under 200 parts per million. Apparently this is good enough for some. Sadly..not for me. So if you are going crazy trying to figure out why you are responding with symptoms but not understanding why, this may be the reason.

Excellent info Starberry! I hate that they allow there to be any gluten when it's labelled Gluten Free. I'm sure this post will help many people.

I learned several things today about ingredient names that mask hidden amounts of gluten and of cross-glutenization. Doesn't seem fair to make us eat just icky food and then causing symptoms anyway....

Agreed Harobed. Perhaps if others really understood our pain and suffering, literally, they would think more of the push to label foods correctly. I hate it!
