Just a note to introduce myself. I live in Clarksville, Indiana. I've been driving a concrete mixer truck for a living since 1997. I was diagnosed with CTS in 1998. Recently it has gotten worse and I have started down the workers comp path. I'm glad I found someplace to vent. Because right now I just want to let out a primal scream and go sit in the corner. I'm tired of my hands being the way they are. I'm tired of not being able to feed myself without my hands going numb. I'm tired of not being able to massage my wife for more than 10 seconds. I'm tired of not being able to fix my sons gameboy, because it involves fine use of my hands. I'm tired of not being able to do my job without pain. I dread the problems I'm going to have getting workers comp to pay for treatment. Which one's the primal scream emoticon? |
