I have had two surgeries in the past two years. One was the Carpal tunnel release and the second was the Ulna nerve release. Both done on my left hand (primary hand). My last surgery (Ulna) done on Dec. 2007 is still in the process of healing.

I also have been dx w/ CTS on my right hand too.

Since I haven't healed correctly w/ my left hand, I am not wanting to get surgery for my right hand. Is that a good idea?

Also, I was told by my Dr. that I'll probably won't be returning to my old job. Most careers out there require the use computers or involves some repetition. He advised me to look into new careers and possibly schools.

Please let me know if there are any jobs out there that I will be able to do in the future????

Thank You,

Lisa

I noticed that you havent gotten a reply for this post. Sorry about that. I had the release done on both hands and went back to my job. I work in a dental lab and use my hand all day long. Not so much repetition as in typing but still a lot of hand movement. Good luck with your recovery and other hand.
