That's true. She can still walk from the car into the store!
Migraine headaches since age 11, arthritis and bulging disks in the c3-c7 area of my neck, scar tissue on my left foot that keeps me from doing anything involving being on my feet for long. Depression since about the age of 18, anxiety and anxiety attacks. Sleep apnea (I use my Bipap religiously)I still have daytime sleepiness occasionally......

Sorry for the late post, but look into arts and crafts things for kids...there are tons of places online that tell you lots of crafts to do at home for free or low cost. You can then donate the items. She can make cards for soldiers or vets in the hospital. Make ornaments. You can make playdough at home and she can make little charms to give to a local charity group to sell...etc. Paper mache. There are a lot of things she can do. String beads and make elastic bracelets. Just some thoughts.

Thank you! It doesn't matter that it's a late post.....she still needs things to do. Thank God she has been doing somewhat better and is doing a few things outside again. (Planted some tomatoes, flowers, etc.) But there are times she needs to keep busy!!

She would love the idea of making cards for soldiers/vets. She goes to Brooke Army Medical Center for all her medical needs. Everytime we go over there we see soldiers that are badly injured it just makes us want to cry. My cousin was burned over 65% of his body (3rd degree) because of an IED in Iraq. He spent almost 2 years there in their world famous burn unit!

Wow, then something like the cards or something for the vets would be great and I know they would appreciate it so much and it would have great meaning for her and you. Maybe doing some holiday themed crafts would help her have purpose...Easter is coming up.

Oooohh......I like those! I've been a big fan of "Pinterest" lately and have tried some new things. I included Mom in planting little succulent gardens in bowls last weekend. She liked that. We also made moss terrariums!!
