<description>hello everyone, i just want to say to never give up hope through whatever you're going through. i had burkitt's when i was 7 years old, and got over it when i was 8. i was the first case of burkitt's my 2 doctors at the hospital ever dealt with. and with their help i beat it. i am almost 17 now, and i am a big guy. i play football, i get good grades and have the average job a 16 year old would have; i'm washing dishes at a chain restaurant. :p my doctors say that they can't even tell i had cance...</description>

Just wanted to join this group as a bit of support.. My mum has burkitts lymphoma and unfortunately after initially being told that the tumors in her spine, pelvis and lymph nodes had goneafter chemo, 2 weeks after this they found a brain tumor.. Mums now in a coma and we r just waiting for the final phone call.. This cancer has to be one of the worst you can get and it is unrelenting.. I got many PMs from members asking to upload their own videos. At this point we can't add to the library . but hope we will be able to soon, we understand the importance of that!

and another (not related) topic...Two weeks ago we added to the  (now available on chrome too) the Groupon application that shows you the hottest daily deals in your town, every day. We received great feedback from the people using the toolbar so I suggest trying it out!!!

<description>Hi
I have just returned home after a major operation to remove Burkitts from my small intestine followed by 12 weeks intensive chemotherapy in hospital. All told 4 moths in hospital bed!
I weigh only 156lbs, from being 208lbs!
I find that I have no appetite, a sore stomach and lots of flow on from the Chemo. Peripheral Neuropathy below both knees and in fingers and my feet are painfull.

They didn't tell me about this and I am finding it hard to cope. Can anyone please give me a run down on...</description>

In October, after developing a large tumor on my neck, I was informed that I had Burkitt's Lymphoma and would have to endure a rigorous regimen of chemo in order to survive.  I completed the treatment in early February and am currently recovering (regaining my strength and trying to gain weight).  I am scheduled to have another PET scan in early April.

At the time that the Burkitt's was diagnosed, I was informed that I was HIV positive.  I was stunned.  I had always tested negative....</description>
