Hey I am 26 and currently exercise for a living. I guess my problems started when I was a freshman in College. This is really hard for me, because by signing on here I am admitting I have a problem. I binge and purge when I get stressed out. It is not a daily occurance usually. Some weeks it is. I guess I just need to talk to others that deal with the urge to purge after every meal.

Thanks

Hello. I used to binge and purge everyday everytime I eat. I haven't done it in just over a week now which is alot for me. I stay up with my doc now though and if I get bad I call him. He also does blood work to make sure I am ok. It took alot for me to eventell someone. i think it is great you are here. Talk to me anytime you need.

Same with me im here if you need to talk. I'm going on two weeks now. It is so comforting knowing there are others here that have the same problem as me.

It's hard to admit that you have a problem. I started two years ago when I was dealing with a divorce. For the past two years it was a daily occurance (binging and purging) I keep telling myself that I'll stop tomorrow. Then the next day comes and I tell myself, "I'll really stop tomorrow."

This is my second day that I have gone w/out binging and purging. It's helped me to think of it as ...today I'm not going to binge/purge. One day at a time.

Counseling is helpful because it allows you to think about why you do the behavior.

Know that you're not alone in this battle.
