I've been bulimic since I was 12 years old, I'm now 43 Finally in 2007 I realized I had to get some help because my marriage was in trouble. I was then diagnosed with Bulimia. I always dismissed it as "I have a week stomach". I was in a out-patient treatment program for 9 months. I hadn't purged since then... until about 3 months ago.

I'm not sure what to do, or if I really want to do anything about it. I can't figure out what the really issues are in my life and which ones I'm creating to justify my purging

Stress definitely makes this disease worse... Are you sure you cannot pinpoint something specific? Have you been dieting recently? I wish you stregnth as you move forward and try to re-recoverSmile I haven't been doing so great lately, and honestly I am not giving it my all right now. Maybe today will be better for us...

I think it's a good thing that you are trying to stop, but it is an upward battle. After all, you have been doing this most of your life so it will take time to improve. Keep at it and just know you will have a few steps backward, but try to keep moving forward nonetheless. And stick with therapy too, that and a good dietician can help a lot.

Welcome glad you are trying to get back on track. When I was inpatient I was told lapsing is part of recovey and learning from it. If you can figure out why that could

help. Keep posting it will help.
