So sorry I ran off. A big part of me is/was still caught up in the childish mindset of hoping "things will get better" for a while. Not the adult "better" realizing that the world is harsh and sad, and that there is only so much respite available, but - unfortunately - the childish "better" that involves all pain stopping until I feel ready to deal with it. Yeah, guess which "better" my sad brain keeps holding out for? I'm still barely ok, but I'm here and hoping for real-world better for myself.
