MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Carolyn said it, take it one day at a time and your kids will be your motivation!!!!! Radiation is more tedious than anything else because you go every day, it's quick and for most* doesn't hurt (*I was burned from day one but that is rare). In the beginning I had enough energy to play with my kids, clean the house, and go jogging every day. By the end, well lets just say I had a lot of help. You will get through this, you can do this, keep fighting!

Let us know how the PET scan goes; I just had mine and all is good! I had a minor scare as they saw something in my other breast; but it turned out to be a calcification that they've seen before; the radiologist didn't compare reports (errrrrrrrrrrrr). I've been a survivor for almost 3 years and in complete remission for almost 2 1/2; not so bad for someone who was given 18 months to live!

Hugs

Jessi

no they arent mad

theyb are just worried

because your worried

the uncertinty is tedious

and know that is hard to deal with itself

also on their minds is how will they cope

and do they tell you about their feelings

and how do you tell them

I agree with Carolyn, the kids are taking their anger out on you because it's easier to be made at you. They can't be mad at the cancer. Take it one day at a time; try talking to them, again and again.....

Take someone to the doc with you after the PET scan; you will be needing the support and we're all here for you!

hugs

jessi
