At age 38 presents for baseline study. At that time I told them there was no history of Breast Cancer, but there is, but it was my great grandmother.

Technique/Comparison: Digital CAD assisted CC and MLO views of Both Breasts,

FINDINGS: The Breast are Heterogenously Dense. There are no areas of archtechtural distortion, skin changes or nipple retraction. There are no clustered Microcalcifications. In the central portion of the left breast, seen on both CC and MLO views, there are two nodules measuring up to 9mm and close to each other. The borders are not well defined and may be obscured by parenchyma.

IMPRESSION: There are two ill-defined Nodules in the Central portion of the left Breast, recommend further workup with spot compression view in CC and MLO projection, True Lateral view of Left Breast Ultrasound.

Birad:0 Incomplete-Need additional imaging evaluation and or prior mammogram. (which I did have from one year ago, but did not bring film with me)

Next was A LEFT BREAST ULTRASOUND:

38 Year Old Female Patient presents for additional imaging of the left breast. Date: 06/02/11.

Comparison: Mammogram obtained the same day and previous studies from 5/16/11.

Findings: Radial Grayscale images were obtained extending outward from the nipple. There are no areas of altered sonographic architechture. There are multiple small subcentimeter cysts in the upper portions of the left breast. The largest one is at approximately 12 o'clock and measures 6x2x2mm. At 2 o'clock there is a 4x2x3 mm nodule which is well defined.

IMPRESSION: There are multiple small Cysts and a nodule seen on the Ultrasound which accounts for the findings seen on the mammography. To document stability of these findings, recommend short-interval follow-up study with repeat Ultrasound and Mammography in 6 months.

BIRAD 3

02/09/11:

DIGITAL BILATERAL SCREENING AND MAMMOGRAM WITH CAD:

COMPARISON: Prior films were reviewed from 06/2/11, which is a left mammogram as well as 5/16/11 bilateral mammography.

TECHNIQUE: CAD analysis was performed.

FINDINGS: The breast parachyma is Heterogeneously Dense. The Patient has a history of increasing left breast pain as well as nodules seen on prior ultrasound.

There are no spiculated masses seen nor suspicious clusters of microcalcifications.

IMPRESSION:

Bilateral Breast Ultrasound Recommended to Evaluate the Patients Diffuse left Breast Pain, the Heterogeneously Dense Mammory Parenchyma, and the History of the Nodules seen mammographically on previous study.

Birad: 0 INCOMPLETE-Need additional imaging evaluation and/ or prior mammograms for study.

So, I would have went to the surgeon as my doctor suggested when I got the Birad 3 mammo, but at that time, my husbands heart stopped beating unexpectedly and at 43 he had to have a pacemaker put in. So, I could not take off of any more work to do the surgeon thing, so I went for the follow-up as soon as I could. Now I just feel like I am being juggled back and forth.

They sent another piece of mail that said that I need to have my doctor schedule an ultrasound. Oh, I am tired of this, I am going to ask my doctor after this next ultrasound, if he suggests me going to a surgeon, as my left breast glands in underarms have been sore for about 2 years now and now it is happening in my right underarm glands into my breasts also.

ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS, would be greatly appreciated. I am worried to death. My sister had to have something biopsied, they cut her breasts instead of a needle aspiration, and she has much smaller breasts than I. I am a 38D, and I don't really know if that matter or not, but here it is. I am already sick, with Lyme Disease, Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease Arthritis and On my last month of Hep C treatment, in which the disease is no longer detectable, thank God.

I just thought that I would try one more time, as going all over the internet is making me sick to my stomach, and just want to have an actual person help me, or give me some input.

Thank you,

Sabado

I will just have to go through this and find out what happens apparently. I wish that there was someone that might have had the same thing happen to them. I have very low WBC count, and will be getting an ultrasound soon as I see my primary tomorrow.

I will ask the doctor to referr me to a surgeon pending results of the ultasound, or maybe not, because I have enough evidence that supports it being looked into, whether a surgeon wants to is up to them of course.

I am also have extreme nightsweats, which have been coming on and off, and have gotten really bad this month, could be perimenopause but it is something that I am going to speak to my primary about, checking hormone levels etc, plus I have swollen lymph nodes in my arm pits and into my breast.

I guess I will have to see.

Thanks Anyway, Good Luck to alll of you who may be going through treatment or are worried and scared like myself.
