MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

My precious niece Melia has now lost the sight in one eye. It was expected but can't really prepare for such a thing entirely. She is now undergoing radiation treatment to try to slow down, (hoping to stop) the loss of the other eye. She is still as brave as brave can be.

The good news is that her mother has finally decided to be in touch with my sister, Melia's grandmother, so now we are getting updates asap. She is making arrangements for Braile school and Melia will be going to summer camp for children battling cancer.

All we can do is pray and pray, and try to have a positive outlook.

Thanks for listening.

Hi Karen,

I've recently joined the group but we know each other well thru the PD group.

I do hope yr niece Melia has progressed well. It's so very sad when kids get ill isn't it? we have no answers for their suffering.

It's very early here in SL, had a bad night; good night, hope u sleep well.
