Why wear a ribbon?

MDJunction to me

neshama48"Having Crohn's Disease for over 26 years, in the first few years, it lonely and isolating.
Though now my disease is in a near perfect remission, my friends and family are sympathetic to me, but I can not talk to them about this disease. When I stumbled across MD Junction, and met others who had the same disease I was not alone in battling the disease. MD Junction is like a second family, without the judgement or guilt of having Crohn's Disease, but they do give you love and support.

Great, I will check it out, I read everything I can get my hands on.

I'm gonna read this someday soon, because my diagnosing psychologist co-authored it!

http://www.amazon.com/Major-Theories-Personality-Disorder- Second/dp/1593851081/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1315407820&sr=8-1

I am also planning on going back to school for my masters in psychology and public policy/health care administration,

because I want to be a mental health advocate and lobbyist!

Well yay! For you too! Wow. That's great. You and peaches. Though peaches says therapist, I believe. You want to be involved in advocacy?

Yes, public mental health policy, administration and advocacy!

Hope I don't get too frustrated though! Politics and the healthcare mess might be a tough one, but I am adamant about getting access to quality care for people with mental health problems. Right now it's despicable how a rich (or used to be) nation like the US can have such poor care.

The prisons are the new MH institutions! and the rest of us suffer trying to navigate the mire of MH treatment.
