1magicman"Before i found MDJ i was in the deepest darkest part of my life after my abduction. I wanted to feel safe. I wanted that sense of being a normal person.Finding MDJ and the people with in it has steered me down the correct path into the light of hope. The feeling of hope that i was not alone, the feeling of hope of understanding, and the feeling of hope to move on. I never give up hope." (1magicman)

I am a 35 year old female, mother of two girls (11 &14 yrs), currently in a commited romantic relationship andemployed. I was diagnosised with bpd over two years ago. I did try dbt, but could not handle the group therapy setting. I am trying to manage my illness with mindfulness tools like meditation and yoga. I am looking for more resources to decrease the amount of conflict that can be directly associated with bpd tendancies.

Welcome Faerie, I have only just found out I have BPD, yoga and meditation are just so great for anyone and I have been practising for 15 years and it adds so much to my life, I have an appointment to arrange my DBT today, but I will be doing this one on one as I have anxiety problems, so I am being open to this. Do you have a therapist?

Welcome to the group...

Keeping things interesting since 1983

I'm not a doctor or a therapist, I'm just someone who is working on my issues just like everyone else. I can, however, offer support, understanding, and opinion from personal experience.
