MDJunction to me

Macv"For me, MDjunction has been a place where I can share my experiences
living with the very rare bone disease called Ollier's ( Enchondromatosis ) with the parents of children recently diagnosed. I can help them not to run
into the pitfalls my parents did when I was young, give them a bit of a view
from their child's perspective and simply be there to offer support and
hope to people who are scared and just had their lives upended. I also belong to a chronic pain group and it's been a Godsend to be able to actually
talk with others who understand what I'm dealing with. Besides them helping me through my tough times, I can be there to help them as well. Here too, I can use my years of experience to help others avoid pitfalls and it makes me feel good, gives my life more purpose. MDjunction brings people
together when their suffering, at their darkest and feeling alone in this world and allows some light to be brought back into their lives. HOPE, that's what
MDjunction means to me!

Somedays it feels like and I think are these people around me real what if everything im seeing people things ext is really not there. Is that weird ???? Will not last the whole day. or maybe is it dissocation or just me???

I know they sayd borderline is a personality disorder but Im serious they make me out to be this horrible eviel person when IM NOT. Thats how it feels like but to me i dont think its denial I think its just my personality not borderline and that Im such a nice person I get upset when some one hurts me.

Even though borderline is not known that well it seems therapist can tell I have it really quick WHICH HURTSSSS }:

Im always switching meds too I hate it other people have been on there meds for years and years. Its like I get on a pill for literaly around 9 months then psychiatrist says this med will work better so try this one its like geeez what next im going to be on that one for a few months untill you find another one. Do all psychiatrist do this well I guess not all bec some of you get to stay on your meds for years never really switching.

It's normal for doctors to change meds if they think something else may work better. I've been on many meds.

lauri, I have to switch meds a lot too, don't feel singled out... I become "immune" for lack of better word, to my meds after a while. My bpd symptoms break through any med I take and I feel like I can't move on until I've been on the new med for a few weeks.

Hello Lauri, I just wondered what medication you are on? I was diagnosed with Bpd years ago but am struggling more than anything to get help, ive been self harming a lot recently and my doctor has finally said that he believes meds may help again

They dont have any actual bpd meds, but they have meds that can help with the underlying things like mood swings, anxiety, depression, etc. I really do understand your frustration Lauri, Ive been on over 30 meds. My problem is always the way I react to side effects, so sometimes I can only take one a few days or a week before I have to stop and switch.

I just want to stay on a med for years not switch will ask her about that. Thanksss
