MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Thomps is right, this is a great site! The people here are supportive and understanding and listen, which are some of the most important things when dealing with BPD. We all know what you are going through because we are also going through it.Feel free to post, rant, vent, share, etc as much as you want. Also, pm me any time if you want to talkSmile

I'm not a doctor or a therapist, I'm just someone who is working on my issues just like everyone else. I can, however, offer support, understanding, and opinion from personal experience.

This, did you end up going out last night? If so, did you have a nice time?

I think most of us (if not all) have lost friends because of the bpd. You said you "almost" lost your b/f, too. That must mean there is still hope. Do you want to salvage the relationship?

It sounds like you are suffering from " splitting." The love/ hate that you have with your bf is just that.

I am sorry you have lost friends. Have you been able to make new friends? What have you learned from this?

I am sending you big hugs and postive vibes!

I agree with Deb. It is very helpful to have people understand you. I have always felt like no one could possible know how this feels or I could not take the chance to try to explain it to anyone. Here, most people do get it.

yes it is very helpful to have people to understand & support you. my family doesn't understand but I've lost one of my good friend in 1998 she decided that she had enough of me. we knew each other since 6th grade at one point she thought I liked girls don't know where that came from but whatever.vg

we haven't spoken 12 years. except when my dad died in 2005 she came to the wake. i really do miss her a lot I was going to send her a card to show her how my family has changed since we were friends but I don't know if it is right because she won't talk to me.

you are not a failure we are go though a period when things go wrong. but you are a beautiful person who need love acceptance & support to understand what these feelings are. we are here to just do that.

have your boyfriend read articles about borderline personality disorder. maybe he will understand a little bit more about the disorder.

this group has helped me a lot & I hope you will find peace & happiness. Jaye Sideways Wink
