MDJunction to me

nvrsubtle"Not having any local Bipolar support groups where I live, MDJuntion has given me a place in which people understand what I am going through and has given me a new outlook on life with support that is real and good. Without
the support that I receive from MDJunction, I would be wandering through
life with no one who understands me. I owe so much to MDJunction for giving
me a life line to help get me through the toughest times.

After a 3 day hospital stay, 4 pints of blood and some platelets, a marrow biopsy I was diagnosed with Aplastic anemia. Even though I am feeling so much better, I am scared. At the same time I have much to be thankful for and a few miracles have happened already. Currently waiting on a bone marrow test kit to reach my family in Ohio. My 2 younger brothers will be tested to see if they are a match for me. I know this is going to be a long haul, but I am glad to get my life back, and and know that God is working through my Doctor team and Nurses! I am looking for others who have Aplastic Anemia and may have already been through a bone marrow transplant. From what I understand it is a very long process with chemo, the actual transplant, and being in isolation for a long time so you do not get infections. I will continue to keep everyone in my thoughts and prayersSmile
