MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

Good morning Peeps! I wasn't here much the last couple of days. My right arm has been having a lot of weird nerve pain. Feels kind of like shingles nerve pain. Just in my right arm. Even the skin looks weird. I have always had a lot of nerve pain associated with my Fibro. Hoping it is just from my over exercising last week.

The weather is HOT here so it will be inside today. No big plans. I do have some plants that need to go in the ground but they will wait until next week until the temperatures cool down about 10 degrees.

Yesterday when we went to town in my car Hubby looked in my glove box to get an ink pen and found a mouse had eaten part of a granola bar that I keep in there in case I get hungry while I am out and my blood sugar gets low. No more food in the car. Dang, critters! I don't know what we are going to do about them. Guess I need to research some options.

Megan dear, I hope that you are feeling more relaxed at your new place and that things are getting settled in for you.

Butterfly, I know that you are enjoying having out of town company. Don't overdo it being the Social Butterfly. Although, I am a bit jealous. Sounds like fun.

HM, hope that you are relaxing and enjoying your dear family running after Z! Our grandson's first birthday is in exactly one month and we will be going down to see him. Can't wait. I ordered him a little chair from Land of Nod with his name on it. Now if he stays still long enough to sit in it! LOL

Hi Susan, I hope that you are having a good day. It is so wonderful to hear from you. It brings a smile to my face!

Think I will see about putting up the rest of the laundry. I got it all washed and dried yesterday but we sat down last night and watched a movie and I did not finish putting it away.

Wishing you all a wonderful, fun Summer day. Be safe.

Good Morning ladies!!

Okay... So that *#!% squirrel isn't enough wildlife here I guess... Early in the morning 2ish, Z woke up so his momma brought him up the stairs to give him a little snack, so the three of us went out on the back deck for some fresh air.. We heard some grunting, snorting.. Yep, there was a BEAR in the trees next to the house!! Our doggy Aapa was not happy.. He growled at the bear from the deck. Haha such a tough doggy.. Not!

It's a good thing our back deck is high up. Hmph!!

Sam~

I am so sorry about your arm pain Sad I hope it goes away as fast as it came! I also have more nerve pain with the Fibro. I can relate.

Could you send some sunshine this way? We are getting a lot of rain.. Yuck.. Enough is enough! I am glad you are taking it easy today tho..

As for the little mousey in you car- maybe set a trap?? We just discovered that we have one in our house! We've lived in our house for 12 yrs, and have never had a mouse.. And now we do Sad Hubby set a trap last night and the darn thing ate the peanut butter and somehow did so without springing the trap! Yuck.. I do not want rodents living in my house.. Nor in your car...

The chair that you bought your grandson sounds adorable!! He will love it Smile. Time goes by so fast, doesn't it? Do you get to spend his birthday with him?

BF9~

Soooo glad you are out there having so much fun!! I definitely have to live vicariously thru you! Haha! I hope you're careful not to overdo it tho? Let us know how your evening went.. I love reggae.. But I already told you that Smile

You live in Nevada, right? Not so far from Colorado...

Megan~

I hope you slept wonderfully in your bed!! Are you staying busy? How is work going? Also~

How is it going with your roommate? I hope you are doing well Smile

Well, I really have nothing else to prattle on about... I lead such a boring life.. Haha.. I live in such a boring place.

{{{HUGS}}} Have a wonderful day!!

Hm, I can relate to the bear. We have them on our property also. Mr. Big Boy seems to keep them away from the house but before he showed up they would come up to the house. They even stole bird feeders so I had to stop feeding the birdies. One bent a solid steel pole. It's strength was amazing and nothing that I would want to come face to face with. We have seem cubs up to one that weighed about 350 lbs. I have heard that even a small dog will keep them away if it barks at them. We also have mountain lions and Mr. Big Boy is scared of them. They chase him in to the house. One day he was hiding in the closet after his first encounter with one. They scare me and I am happy that as he gets older he stays home more often but he does go through the woods to see his "girlfriend" Lola. She is our neighbors dog and they have a strange relationship.

We might have to put out a trap but it would have to be a live trap. I could not kill a mouse. I would release it in the woods and hope it did not return. Maybe I could take it somewhere else. We have used the live trap before. We had one mouse before ...but only one. We caught it and I put it out in the woods and it did not come back. Okay, I admit it, I put it out near my other neighbor who is a jerk. Bad me!

We did get a little rain today but the sun is back out. Guess it would be a good day to get those plants in the ground. I was going to make cookies but somehow, I ran out of flour. I'll put it on my list.

Better go.

take care ladies.

Hugs.

We just have little bunnies for my big, tough (not really) dogs to scare off! Hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday!

Bunnies would be nice. We live in the mountains...therefore we have all kinds of things bumping around in the dark! We moved out from the city 3 years ago so there was some adjustments.

What kind of dog do you have? I would love to hear about he/she.

My dog is not tough. He is a big hound dog that someone dumped at the end of our driveway as a puppy and he stole my heart. He is the friendliest dog on Earth. He makes a lot of noise when there is a bear nearby and cries when there is a mountain lion. One night I was in the hot tub and he came out and started crying and whimpering. I got the message fast and ran in to the house. Very protective. My other dogs are mini schnauzers and a mini poodle.

Oh my~ Mountain Lions would scare me much more!! At least with bears you can hear them..

I would prefer bunnies over both tho...

Aapa is anything but brave once he gets outside. He is a retriever spaniel mix I believe. He is beautiful. But kind of slow

witted... But patient with Z and very kind.

Hubby made a lovely chicken dinner this afternoon. With homemade potato salad and corn on the cob. It was scrumptious Smile

I could make a meal out of just the corn on the cob. MMmmm!!

Tomorrow my baby turns 17!!! Wow!! Sad

We are making him his favorite dinner and a chocolate strawberry cheesecake.
