Again everyone is different. I knew someone had a side effect started 3 wks after they took it, they are not bipolar but had a lot of anxiety and panic. This side-effect was diareah. The med got rid of the anxiety though. After my initial breakdown i only took anti-deps from the Tricylic family of anti-deps for 11 yrs and also took Klonopin for anxiety a low dosage daily. Eventually when my Mom passed away i had an episode where my pdoc gave me a mood stabilizer that was Lithium, now its 14 yrs later and i'm still on it. I wish you all the best. Bipolar I
Lithium 300 mgs, Lamotrigine 200 mgs, Klonopon (Clonazepam) .05mg more if needed, Clomipramine (Anafranil) 25 mgs, Abilify 5 mgs, Seroquel 25 mgs
