I don't take Seroquel, but I thought I'd bump this to see if you could get some more comments. I wish you a lot of luck with the medication and hope it really helps you!!

Hi! I just started taking seroquel 200 mg once a day- at night. I have only been on for 2 weeks, and am also taking effexor 150 mg and 2 klonopin a day- so far the meds are actually working on quite a few things- I am sleeping way too much, but after over a year of getting 3-5 hrs a night, maybe my body is just catching up- hope I will level out- just give it a chance for a while, call your dr. with any concerns, and good luck!

Daily medication:
Topamax 300 mg, Risperdal 1 mg, Klonopin 4 mg, Trazodone 150 mg
Bipolar I, mixed state with psychotic effect, and Borderline personality disorder- OCD, PTSD, anxiety disorder, sexual abuse/rape
I am on disability

I've been taking it for about 4 years. Between 400-500 mg at bedtime. Let's just say Sleeping has NOT been a problem for the las 4 years. ALthough the strength I'm at now when I get up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom ( 1400 mg of Lithium a day I drink over a gallon of water) I've had many black eyes, bloody noses, falls into my living room it's a sunken living room. Heck I even fell into the hot big jacuzzi in my bedroom all around 3ish a.m. I think walking into the doorjams and the doors themselves hurt the most. I just had no idea where I was. It seems to have gotten alot better the past year But I wouldn't trade it , it really helps.

Yep. I agree. I am on the same levels as you..1200mgs lithium and 450 mggs seroquel. I wake up each morning to discover things I have no recolection of doing. The 10 hours I sleep everyday and the hangover I feel for the next couple of hours is worth what would happen If I stopped taking them.

on the plus side, pretty stable and well at the moment .
