So it's 1am in the morning and the people I have been living with for the past 4 months who have been asking me for the last week if I am ok and saying that they will do anything to help me cause they love me have just decided that I am too unstable to be around.

Tired of walking on eggshells in their own house.

Off to stay in a womens hostel for a bit.

Very very low right now. How many more relationships am I going to fuck up.

Is that you in front of me, coming back for even more of exactly the same? You must be a masochist, to love this modern leper on his last leg.

Recently Trialled medication: Lithium 250mg BD (extreme short term memory loss, severe confusion, excessive thirst polyuria, dehydration)

Current medication: Lamotrigine 25mg q1d nocte (increasing to 50mg q1d nocte soon)

I am so sorry you are going through this. I guess being irritable during hypomanic episodes really made people uncomfortable. Maybe a medication adjustment is in order? I hope you find a comfortable place to say and stay well.

This is a hard one. I'm very sorry that this has happened to you. Sometimes it's too much for people to take. I hope you find a nice place to stay. Like cape says, do you have any family you can stay with?

I haven't told my family I am bipolar. None live close by anyway. Flooding here too so no emergency housing available right now. Going to go to the hospital for a bit, don't feel too great right now.

I hope you tell your family and soon. going to the hospital sounds like where you need to be. Can you call your family while in the hospital? That may be a good time to do that. You can explain your illness to them and tell them about your symptoms too. Maybe the counselor can help you with that. That is what they are there for, to help you in any way they can. Please let the fear of telling family roll off of you. They may be of help if they know you are in the hospital. When I was in the hospital my husband and I always had a private session with him before I was discharged and it was a great help to both of us. Good luck and I hope things become more stable for you and soon! Kelti

There are social workers at the hospital who should be able to help you at least find you a half way house or a group home you can stay in until you get disability or a job. You are going to be much better off not having to walk on eggshells as well around your freinds. You may also want to check with hud about emergency housing and social services about food stamps.
