I am having issues going to work consistently. I get tired of it and just want to go home. This has been a constant problem for a while now. Also, I am starting to get a temper about things....how can I deal with this?

Welcome to the group soonergirl! A lot of people have issues about going to work, but you sound more like this is happening to you everyday. It sounds like maybe you are bored of your job. Is that a possibility? I know when I get slow at my job and there isn't much to do, I get bored and want to leave work too. When I am in hypo-mania I get very angry and irritable. When this happens, my psychiatrist ups my anti-psychotic. I'm not sure what medications you are on, but you should probably give your psychiatrist a call about the anger because he can help you out with this. You will be supported here by a lot of people and welcomed. Many friends will be made and I think you will like it here. I look forward to seeing you around!

Work has been a real issue for me in the past few years. I'm not as bored with my job as I am, just feeling the need to leave. I don't know if this is your situation but it seems to be very normal for hypo-manic episodes. Pdocs can tweek your meds but for me, nothing really changes this. I'm good for about 4 hours and then i'm done with all of it. I get tired of the work, people, job, being locked down, my cubical, ect. I have no desire to work anymore either.

Just being at work can be stessful, rather busy or bored. I always tell myself, "one day at a time," but in those instances it becomes, "one hour at a time."

Try to devert your mind by interacting with more people, take a walk/break and avoid caffiene...hope this helps.

Citalopram 20mg
Clonazepram 10mg
Hydroxyz 2mg
Porazosin HCL 4mg
Lamotrigine 200 mg
Fanapt 6mg
