So grateful that when I woke up in pain from my fibromyalgia at 2:30 I was greeting by the friendly face of my step daughter! I wish she lived with us all the time- grateful we are all having fun together.
Your joy is your sorrow unmasked. And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears. And how else can it be? The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain. Kahlil Gibran

What I'm I greatful for today? That Iam sober today and that I have come to the understanding that drinking/drugging is not an option for me and can never be. I am greatful for my significant other, boyfriend, husband etc.. we have been together for 21 years, I think all of the above apply. Then there is my 145 lb lap dog, smudly (bobo). No matter how down I may get if I watch him he can always get me to laugh. He knows when I am upset. He follows me around the house at a safe distance when i sit down to relax he's right there rubbing against me like a cat.(not kidding, at 145 lbs it is like wrestling with a bear, )

I'm grateful that I have a Higher Power on my side... and for that wonderful and massively, consistently needed Serenity prayer!

Today, I'm grateful for Donna who is my moderator for the online PSP classes I'm taking. She is really good and very patient. I hope she will be the moderator for all of my classes, but I'm not sure if they work that way or not.
