MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

I made it through the day without crying, even though I hate my job. I even prayed and read some recovery readings. It's just one step at a time.

There aren't too many things on earth that are worse than having to go to a job you hate. It makes it doubly tough with the BP to force yourself to go when all you want to do is crawl into bed and put the covers over your head. I have qualifying medical issues along with the mental health stuff that made me eligible for disability benefits.

It sounds like you found a great way to take care of yourself; prayer works wonders. You are absolutely right; it is one day at a time and sometimes it's one minute at a time.

Hope you're feeling better.

Colleen

taters, Colleen's right about working a job you hate. Working a job you hate is like being eaten from the inside. For me, it's always been a choice of either getting a new job or learning to like the job I have. Prayer would help me to do the latter.

If you decide to keep the job, I suggest working the first 3 steps with the job.

Hugs, Sarah

taters, Glad the counseling went well. How is your plan to work the first 3 steps and lots of prayer working with the job problem?

One step at a time is how we do it. Manytimes it is baby ssteps.

Remember to take it easy and I suggest you get a sponser as soon as possible to take you through the steps.
