MDJunction to me

nvrsubtle"Not having any local Bipolar support groups where I live, MDJuntion has given me a place in which people understand what I am going through and has given me a new outlook on life with support that is real and good. Without
the support that I receive from MDJunction, I would be wandering through
life with no one who understands me. I owe so much to MDJunction for giving
me a life line to help get me through the toughest times.

4/5

Here is something someone posted from the Bi Polar group that I thought was awesome! I could really identify with the analogy of the feelings listed. I thought it would be cool to have this thread on our group here!

1= Depressed - need my friends

2 = Depressed and I can tell it is going to hang around awhile

3. Depressed - but my favorite ______ < insert word could cheer me up

4 = partly cloudy, moving but not motivated, functioning

5 = fine, functional, steady, stable, working list

6 = looking forward to the day, sunny, energized

7 = feeling great, looking FANTASTIC, couldn't be better

8 = up since 4 am cleaning, rearranged the living room, wrote the President, had sex twice

9 = can't stop thinking, why are all these other people so slow and stupid, time is short possibilities unlimited, I need to write that down perhaps start a novel, get out of my way

10 = the television told me I was sent by God direct to save the world so I gave away all my worldly possessions and am walking the universe ridding it from evil as I find it...and it is everywhere

Diagnosis:

GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder)

Medications: (Started March 17, 2009)

Trileptal 300 mg / PM
Geodon 20 mg / PM
Ativan 1 mg

Wellbutrin XL 300 mg (stopped on my own - not by pdoc - October 21, 2010)

Be careful what the Television is telling you. You need to relax and be still. Go for a walk in the sun, or, under the clouds. Practise your breathing, especially after sex. Depressed, but my favourite OUTCOME is to do the next depression better than my last one.

Xina,

I say to you, You have so much wisdom and courage. Never never say never. Never do that. Always say hope, hope, and more hope. God loves you, he loves me, he loves us all. That's all we have to do: Love, love, and then . . . more love. I am trying my best, so you can too! We all can. Let's try and do that. Love life, Learn to live, Learn to love, Learn to learn. The four "L's". Live, Love, Learn, and Laugh. My love to you Xina. Keep up the good work. That's all in my "wisdom bucket". Please take some NOW.

You are not drunk unless you have to hang on while lying on the floor.
