Barry and Hannah, an old married couple, are sitting on the couch watching TV. On the show they were speaking about how to prepare in case of death etc. “Honey,” says Barry, turning to his wife with a serious expression, “I want you to promise me, that if there ever comes a time that I am dependent on just machines and bottled fluid, that you will make sure to put an end to it.” “No problem hun,” said Hannah, and she promptly got up, turned off the TV, and poured his beer down the drain.

I don't know where you come up with all these ((((sara)))), but, please, keep them coming. In my humble opinion, good humor is almost as good as Prozac at lifting spirits when people have the blues! Norman Cousins used humor as his remedy when he had cancer, watched all the funny movies he could. That (and a smidge of prayer) can be healing.
Diagosed with bipolar in 1985, I'm learning to deal with it better since finding my "family" at Alcoholics Anonymous, and as of 1/3/2013, I will have one year of sobriety and more clarity than I've ever experienced in my lifetime.

Mrs. Jones goes to the doctor for a full medical.

After an hour or so, the doctor looks at Mrs. Jones and says the following: "Mrs. Jones, overall you are very healthy for a 45 year old. There is however, only one problem. You are 40 pounds overweight and bordering on obese. I would strongly suggest that you diet now to save any complications in later years."

She looks sternly at him and says, "I demand a second opinion".

"OK" he says, "you're freakin ugly as well!"

Wizard's Parking

This particular Wizard worked in a modern factory. Everything was

satisfactory except that some of his co-workers took advantage of his

good nature, and would steal his parking spot.

This continued until he put up the following effective sign:

This parking space belongs

Cheesy humor is always appreciated at my workplace, because it can get very stressful and hectic, and there is nothing more grounding than a good laugh, no matter how corny the humor is.

So, a while back, we were taking skin biopsies from a dog. His name was Dickens. (I work in veterinary dermatology) Mid-procedure, I noticed how profusely the dog was bleeding from the sites we had just taken pieces of skin from. Without really even realizing I was about to make a terribly corny pun, I said, "Wow! He is bleeding like the dickens!" The vet doing the suturing was laughing too hard to finish his stitching. No matter how stupid it is, we always appreciate a good joke, pun, play on words, etc.

Maybe you had to be there.....

That is classic skeptical! I'm a big fan and regular user of corny puns! That was a great one! Thanks for the contribution to out smiles!
Your joy is your sorrow unmasked. And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears. And how else can it be? The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain. Kahlil Gibran
