 My pdoc just upped my dosage of Abilify today, from 4mg, to 10mg., and also put me back on 50mg. of Seroquel. Hopefully the Seroquel is only temporary to help me sleep; I've slept a total of 9 hours of the last 72. I was taking this med before I started seeing the pdoc and he took me off of it and switched me to Lamicatal.

I don't recall gaining any weight while on this, but I know it is one of the side-effect. So my question is: Does it "magically" cause you to gain weight, or does increase appetite?

 It has been so long since i've taken Seroquel that i don't remember if my appetite increased but i did gain weight on a higher dosage. Zyprexa is the med that magically had me gain 20 pounds in 7 days.

 When I first got diagnosed the doctor put me on Zyprexa and I ballooned up 40 pounds in 2 months. Needless to say, I was off that real quick. Now I'm slowly losing it by drinking diet soda.
