MDJunction to me

Hazeldee"MDJunction means that I no longer have to feel like I am the only person in
the world with pericarditis. It means that I can talk to others who know
how stressful and how painful having pericarditis can be. It means that I
connect with others to discuss treatments that have or haven't worked for us, so that we have a leg to stand on. I think that having my friends at
MDJunction has allowed me to better mentally and emotionally process my
diagnosis and what it means to me. I feel so lucky to have this community
available to me. I use MDJunction as a way to use my experience to help
others. Reaching out to help others is the only solace I have found since
being diagnosed with pericarditis.

I've just taken my meds and my sleep guy seems to kick in really fast. I'm typing but it's taking me a very long time. The space and dimension around me is different. even sitting here alone I know that is a group of people chatting around me, nice to hear sounds. I feel drunk, my keyboard is more raised and tilting downwards. and all these prople around me gently chatting and having fun. I feel safe, just a bit zoned. Bit like one of the few times I smoked weed. battling to focus, being tired doesn't help. But it's such a nice feeling, doc said I should be in bed by the time this hits, but it's so much more fun here. It's been a long day and i have a lot of sleep debt, am hoping I can pay back some tonight. This is not normally me, just a little 5 min zone. Maybe should go into diary but can't do that right now, too much effort. See what happens when you start celebrating the road to 40 witha glass of champagne Laughing Nah, been here before. This is cool, I like being here, seems a pity to waste it going to bed But I will soon .. when I start winding down.

I just got lost in thought, unfamiliar territory

OMG, Bridget you are hysterical. I think I love you. I have tears in my eyes from reading. They should be crystallizing into salt any moment now, so I can have a margarita if I want.

Hey Stacey!Smile I've been frustrated and angry at times and in fibro pain. Sometimes I feel like I have no one to talk to not to be negative, but needless to say I'm so not in my happy place. I'm just annoyed with what I'm dealing with right now and frustrated with my ever so flawed self. I don't know if I'm symptomatic; I think so b/c I've been a tad on the rebellious side, which is not good. I feel like a failure at times. Today I have to meet with the f@#kin investigator, what a waste of fraggin time! My half/half job title is changing into one and I feel there's no need to see this dipshit today b/c I'll be out of that gov't like world soon. I know, it's about work; it is prolly getting old. Sometimes I love it; lately it's been making me mad. Outside of work I pretty much have no life...I'll stop venting.. I hope you are doing way better than I.

No worries, Jess. After all, that is what this group is about. If you can't find compassion here, where else will you find it? Smile

I do hope things work out for you at your job and you start feeling better. My thoughts are with you.

Hugs,

Patrick

The Fibro itself can bring you down then throw in the Bipolar and forget about it. I am sorry you have not been feeling well. You are so smart and and strong and know yourself better than anyone. Do you have any appts coming up with your pdoc? The job situation is probably just really stressing you out and popping some triggers. Maybe when things calm down and tootsie pop is gone you will stabilize again. You are always in my thoughts and prayers my friend. I will just pray extra hard for your tough times. Love ya girl!
