Hi there all, Inspite of the fact that it is a late hour for me and I am exausted, I thought to tell you that the combination of Lamictal, Zoloft and Xanax, has done me a world of good. It actually helps slow my racing thoughts, anxiety and depression. I feel that without these medications, I would be a "total wreck". I also have a great circle of support from a hospital ER staff and many others. Feel free to reply.

Steve-

I am so happy for you. You've reached a place many of us strive for. I hope you stay as well as you are today!

I just started my medication process so I'm still trying to find a combination that works for me. Right now I am Lexapro and Abilify, and Xanax when I get my panic attacks. The Xanax works well, but I just upped the Lexapro and Abilify and it just started to make me so restless that I just can't sit still for 3 minutes. If I continue to feel this way Im going to change meds.

Ask your doctor about the possibility of changing over to Lamictal and Zoloft, but keep the Xanax. I has done me a world of wonders. Zoloft and Lamictal compliment each other and see how you feel after a few weeks with that combo. God willing (and he will) you will probably feel a whole lot better. Take care & God bless & keep you always

Tnx so much for the words of support. Hang in there yourself as well. I am looking to get back into Ham Radio, as soon as I get my radio (Swan 500)fixed. I have a great female physician and nurse who are keeping close tabs on my health as I am also on Coumadin for a pulmonary embolism or two.

Thanks Steve, today is the second day I upped my meds and I am still way too restless. I get bored in less than five minutes and I can't find something to keep me calm. I can't even find something to keep me entertained. I keep jumping from activity to activity in 2 minutes.

I am going to give my doctor a call on Monday and switch meds. I just can't live this way.

I know what that's like all too well. Ask him(her) about swithing to Lamictal and Zoloft. I've had the same experiences ou are having now. The one great thing about the Lamictal, is that it does help to keep the problem of anger at bay, which was a major problem if not a hurdle in its own right.

Tnx so much for the supportive response. The ER Staff @ the hospital I go to, is a real great source of support. I also get alot of love & support from the folks @ Immanuel Lutheran where I attend services @ 9 AM. I have been on Zoloft & Lamictal for the last 4 yrs or so and it has done me a great deal of good and the anger problem which was hurrendous, is for the most part very dormant now. I don't "come unglued" as easy as I used to.

The dormant anger sounds like heaven to me right now. My husband is very supportive, and both my families are. I go on this website a lot, and I have a great therapist, and psychiatrist. I love going on here because I get to talk and become friends with people who actually go through the things I go through.
