MDJunction to me

Sylvia4648"I have suffered from depression most of my life, but had some long, non-depressed times. The last 16 years have been an on-going, constantly worsening nightmare for me medically, socially and with my family. 11/2008 to the present has been the worst time in my life, and new things just keep piling up. During that time I’ve gone from being mostly homebound to being totally homebound due to the errors of about 2 dozen doctors who overmedicated me so badly that I came home w/ 4 conditions I didn’t go in with. I spent months wanting to die, and finding MDJ may well have saved my life. It’s one of the worst feelings to know that nobody on earth needs you for anything; but now that I’ve been a group leader for awhile, there are people here who need me. Thanks MDJ." (Sylvia4648)

Welcome! I'm sorry. I didn't understand your post. Did you mean that you have bipolar 2 with rapid cycling? If so, I'm a rapid cycler myself although I have bipolar 1.

Welcome to the group you have come to a wonderful place for support. You will meet many wonderful people here. I def think you meant Bipolar II with rapid cycling.

"Just because we have the right to disagree with a person, does NOT give us the right to disrespect that person."

I'm not currently active due to many personal and medical issues. I will not be participating in MDJ for awhile, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone. I hope everyone is well and I appreciate all of the thoughts, kind words and messages. I have tried to respond as much as possible and apologize if I have not gotten back to everyone. Hi and welcome. You have found a great group with lots of fun and supportive people.

Tracey

Please don't take my advice as a medical opinion. I'm just someone trying to live and learn with the same disorder you are :)

Some people are like slinkies - absolutely useless and you can't help but smile when you push them down the stairs

I also suffer from CDO - Obsessive Compulsive Disorder but it's in alphabetical order the way it should be

I'm in my own little world. That's okay, though, they know me here

I would rather do evil than be evil.

One of the greatest pleasures in life is doing what others say you cannot

Depression is anger without the enthusiasm

Previous discussions I participated in:

Hey monkey,

Is the definition of an ultra rapid cycler someone who speeds down the block at 100 mph on a bicycle? Smile
